1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Sorora platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KASIG (Pty) Ltd ("Briggi Tech", "we", "us"). The Service is operated by Briggi Tech, registered in South Africa.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not share your login credentials with others. Each user on your team should have their own login. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your business.
3. Subscription and billing
Sorora is offered on a subscription basis. Plans are billed monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on the billing cycle you choose. Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, you must choose a paid plan to continue using the Service.
Billing: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. You will be billed on the same date each period. Failed payments will result in account suspension after 7 days.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price changes via email.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Sorora for lawful business purposes only. You may not:
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
• Use the Service to process transactions that violate South African law
• Misrepresent your identity or business
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of all data you input into Sorora ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of your invoices, customer records, or business information.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service — including the personal information of your customers — complies with POPIA and all applicable South African law.
On cancellation: We will retain Your Data for 90 days after your subscription ends, during which time you may export it. After 90 days, it will be permanently deleted.
6. Intellectual property
The Sorora platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by KASIG (Pty) Ltd. "Sorora" is a trademark of Briggi Tech.
You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.
7. Availability and uptime
We aim to provide the Service with high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
We are not liable for downtime caused by events beyond our control, including power failures, internet outages, or force majeure events.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Briggi Tech's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your subscription payment fails and is not resolved, or if required to do so by law.
On termination, your access to the Service will cease. Your data will be retained for 90 days as described in clause 5.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
